Trump International Golf Course
This is a classic Scottish Links course designed by Dr. Martin Hawtree and constructed to a high specification designed to be capable of hosting major golf tournaments. All 18 holes thread their way through the dunes, before finding their way up to spectacular views of the sea and coastline prior to plunging into the secluded valleys. Each hole on this course has six separate tees to cater for all classes of golfer, bunkers are placed to challenge the stronger golfer and not unduly punish the weaker one.

Royal Aberdeen Golf Course
This course was founded in 1780 and originally designed by the Simpson Brothers. It is a traditional links course which runs along the coast of the North Sea. With holes running parallel to the shore and winding their way around the towering sand dunes, up onto higher ground giving you beautiful views of the North Sea. Golfers say it has the finest nine holes in golf! Don’t forget the rule on this course which dates back to 1783, whereby you are given only five minutes to look for your lost golf ball!

Cruden Bay Golf Course
This is a traditional Scottish links Golf Course originally designed by Tom Morris and set against the backdrop of the North Sea. Winding its way through the towering dunes many holes on this course are secluded from each other by the the sandhills. The fairways humped and hollowed will take you along to the wonderfully contoured greens with fantastic panoramic views. This course creates a unique and unforgettable challenge and requires power, fine judgement and precision from the golfer.

Murcar Golf Course
A Championship links course with a par of 71. This course is among the top 100 in the UK and in the top 40 great Scottish Links collection. The Paul Lawrie GC Northern Open in June 2014 was hosted here as have various other championships over the years. This is a beautiful rugged course with natural appeal and some magnificent views. Located on a stretch of links land with sand dunes, crumpled fairways, burns and heather, this course will provide the golfer with a challenge yet wonderful golfing experience.

Fraserburgh Golf Course
This is a natural links course which is playable all year round. The British Golf Museum has this Golf Club down as the 5th oldest in Scotland and the 7th in the world. James Braid redesigned this course in 1922 and much of it still remains the same today. With wild undulating fairways, sand hills and some spectacular holes, particularly from the 3rd tee which offers a fantastic vista of sand and sea. All this makes the course a great golfing adventure from start to finish.

Peterhead Golf Course
Peterhead Craigewan links, set among among the dunes and links of Scotland’s Northeast coast, is a classic example of Seaside golf at it’s very best and toughest.
Peterhead Golf Club was established in 1841.
The current 18-hole layout “Craigewan Links” began as a 9 hole course in 1892, designed by Willie Park Jnr a dual winner of the Open Championship,and was extended to 18 holes in 1908. A second 18-hole course was established in 1923, however today it exists as a 9 hole course, appropriately named the “New Course”.

Newburgh on Ythan Golf Course
This club was founded in 1888, although the clubhouse itself was only opened in 2011. Overlooking the North Sea and providing stunning views over the estuary and the dunes of Forvie National Nature Reserve. Surrounded by wildlife on the course and the adjacent estuary there is also a breeding colony of terns and eider ducks, not to mention a large population of seals. This challenging course presents a great variety of play at every hole and demands accurate golf from tee to green.

Newmacher Hawkshill Golf Course
This championship course was designed by Dave Thomas and opened in 1990. It is said to be one of Aberdeen’s most challenging courses. Despite being a young course it has a mature feel to it due to the stately pine and birch trees which flank the fairways, with wooded holes providing the most enjoyment. Water hazards combined with clever bunkering of fairways and greens are all designed to make it one of the toughest tests of golf in the area.

Stonehaven Golf Course
Stonehaven Golf Club, set above the town of Stonehaven on the Braes of Cowie, offers spectacular views over the North Sea and the ancient fortress of Dunnottar Castle.
Although the course plays to just over 5000 yards it still provides a stiff challenge to golfers of all abilities with its forced carries over deep gullies, short holes set along steep cliffs and its tricky but immaculate greens.
